I love stories, any story, especially stories with kissing. Books, TV shows, movies––if there’s love, I’m so in. Originally from Southern California, I now live in Hollywood, Florida with my family and two carrot-loving rescue dogs––a poodle-mix named Houdini Beauregarde and Sheba Reba Rita Peanut, a chihuahua-mix.

Houdini Beauregarde

Houdini was found running on the side of the 95 highway in North Miami during a thunderstorm and was rescued by the good people at Grateful Paws. Even though I wasn’t looking for a dog, he was such an affectionate, sweet guy that he stole my heart. A few weeks later, Houdini joined the family.

Sheba Reba Rita Peanut

We rescued Sheba from the animal shelter on the day she was scheduled to be put down because she’d been deemed too aggressive for adoption. With patience and some help from her good friend, Houdini, she is now a sweetheart who enjoys cuddling under the covers, chasing curly-tailed lizards, and eating carrots.

Michael Crumpton is an artist and designer with a very restless mind, who enjoys creating sculptures and furniture, and happens to have the title of carrot dispenser, and is therefore well loved by all the pack. Learn more about Michael at:

All Caleb Donovan has to do to redeem his family name is take a rundown Miami Beach apartment building and turn it into luxury condos. Easy, right?

Unfortunately, that would also turn the local dog park into a parking lot and the neighbors aren't having it. Caleb is faced with outright revolt, led by smart, beautiful building manager Riley Carson and her poodle, LouLou.

Can Riley and her canine sidekick convince Caleb that what's best for business isn't always best for the heart?

Lance Donovan agreed to dog sit only to help out his younger brother. Little does he know that an encounter with his ex-wife at the local dog park is going to turn his life upside down...

Carrie Burns has a successful business, a young son, and an energetic pup. She doesn't have time for much more in her busy schedule, but her friends say she needs to get back into the dating scene or she'll never find a new Mr. Right. Between her demanding job and 3-year-old Oliver, dating is starting to be another chore.

Carrie especially doesn't have time for her ex-husband, Lance Donovan. But when Lance meets Oliver, he's determined to connect with the son he didn't know he had, and the love he thought he'd lost.

Danielle hates how much it hurts to see Knox again, her first love who abandoned her when she needed him most. Fourteen years in the Marines has made Knox more hard-edged and suspicious, but when he bonds with the retired racing greyhound she's fostering, Danielle’s cool reserve begins to melt. Can she trust her heart to the one man who’s ever broken it?
